A region formed by a part of so-called Malá Haná with its centre in Jevíèko, in a town founded in the 13th century on a circular ground plan, and a part of the then German language island called Høebeèsko with its centre in Moravská Tøebová, a town founded also in about the half of the 13th century on a square ground plan. The region is situated in a picaresque landscape called Moravskotøebovsko and it has a character of rough highlands whose parts include Moravskotøebovská fold; Malá Haná is a part of the Boskovické trough; other parts of the Jevíèko region belong to Konická and Bouzovská highlands. The region belongs to the river Tøebùvka’s basin whose biggest tributary stream is the Jevíèka.
